• Question: What do you get when you add zinc and sulphur together?

      According to one of the chemists I work with you get a product called zinc sulphide. The reaction to get you there is very dramatic when you add a flame to it so it should be done under caution.

      I asked a chemist too… Yup Zinc Sulphide, but only if you add heat or it will just sit there by all accounts.

      I dont have a handy chemist to ask so I’m not sure, but zinc sulphide sounds about right!
