• Question: Since you wear glasses, do you still need a micro scope?

      Microscopes magify things way beyond the limits of human vision, (with or without glasses) so yes – scientists do need them,…even Bob!

      The glasses that you wear only bring your eyesight back to the same level as people who don’t need to wear them. A microscope of the other magnifies whatever you want to look at by anything from 10 times to thousands of times it’s normal size. This allows us to see things that would be impossible to see with the naked eye.

      I’m not superman… I do still uses microscopes with my glasses on, sometimes if I have a lot to do I take them off and use the settings on the microscope to compensate for my poor vision.
