      No, it would take a few minutes for the toxins to rise in your blood enough.

      Not instantly, you would lose consciousness first and then die – it would take a few minutes – sometimes people have been rescued when they have been found unconscious after breathing in carbon monoxide, although they survive, they often have quite extensive brain damage as the brain cells die when they dont get enough oxygen..
