      ok if you blink (on average)
      25 times a minute
      1,500 an hour
      36,000 a day
      252,000 a week
      1,008,000 a month
      12,096,000 a year
      1,028,160,000 in a life time (85 years)

      if a blink last for 0.4 seconds you shurt your eyes due to blinking for 411,264,000 seconds in your life time, thats about 10mins per day!

      This is about right – unless you do loads of staring competitions (like my children) then it would be less!
