      This is an interestin one as it’s not a straight forward answer. If it’s cold it takes longer. if it’s warm is quicker. If its on a vacuum (like in space) is probably won’t decompose very quickly at all. Also other factors, how big was the person, sounds silly but it does make a difference. Also if there are insects interfering, they like to lay eggs in dead things as it’s a good food source.
