      It’s very complicated and it depends on the information that is being coded. A neuron has lots of thin strands called dendrites at one end. All of the dendrites have nodes that respond to different chemicals in the brain called neurotransmitters. Signals between these neurotransmitters allow the neurons to communicate with each other in incredibly complex networks. There are trillions and trillions of possible connections. New information will trigger unique communications within the network and that’s how the info is coded.
