• Question: How cold is it in space? Could we of survived if we had oxygen?

      3 degrees above absolute zero and no, we would die long before we got close to that temperature.

      Really really cold – we would freeze solid in an instant so couldn’t survive at all

      Yes, it’s very, very cold. -270 degrees Celcius, which as Bob says is only three above absolute zero. (Absolute zero is where it’s so cold even all the electrons would stop spinning and matter would fall apart – some labs have tried to get there and been very, very close!)
