      Which Moon? The earth actually has two. the one you see all the time is about one quater the size of earth. The other is called Cruithne, but it’s actually deemed a Quasi-satalite it takes 770 years to orbit the earth.

      Pretty big! It looks bigger when it is lower, near the horizon, than when it is high in the sky…its just an illusion but an important one in psychology. The moon illusion has been used to work out how our vision works.
