      I LOVE my job because it makes a real difference to people. When I see people before they have surgery they are often really ill and very sad. If we get the science right and their operation works, the difference afterwards is amazing. I am very lucky. Lots of scientists have to wait many many years before their work gets translated into something that benefits patients. In my work, I get to see the immediate benefits on a weekly basis.

      I love my job – I always say even if I won the lottery I still do my job. Its very rewarding, fascinating as you’re discovering new things all the time and in my case very flexible. I get the chance to do alot of STEM ambassador work as well as my normal job.

      I love my job, it has verious aspects that I enjoy more though. I really love the advanced techniques for identifying cellular process and immune function. I also love the support work I do with surgeons and wards with patients undergoing proceedures (it’s very high pressure, but I can really get involved and give it my best).
