      We can have a bacterial infection in our blood yes, this is called bacteremia. Generally treated with antibiotics.

      Yes bacteria can get into our blood. there are millions of bacteria in mouths – if you are bitten by an animal, millions of bacteria can get into your blood, which is why it often gets infected – Our bodies can fight and kill lots of bacteria, but for others we need the help of antibiotics
