“I’m a scientist get me out of here…” ok now that’s out of my system, to the point. Thank you. To every student that took part, to every teacher that encouraged them, to everyone who made this event possible. But mostly to the amazing thinkers, the individuals and the true scientific minds budding, there in schools. You questioned not only us, but also the world as we know it.  My absolute favourite question asked (not word for word but this is how I saw it): that if there were such a reality as mutants like in “X-Men” how would we as a society cope?  Questions like this made me so happy, I knew looking at this question that the student asking it was a “deep thinker”, I hope my answer was worthy of the question. We’ve counted, checked and rechecked the votes since yesterday and now it’s game over for… NISHA This leaves SALLIE, KATIE and BOB to fight it out in a 3 person final for the £500 prize tomorrow. What would they do with the money, you ask? It’s been a fantastic event so far and the scientists have worked hard, answering thousands of questions between them. But on Friday there can only be one winner in each zone, so some of them have to go. The first scientist to be evicted is… No one – it’s a draw! This means there will be a double eviction tomorrow when we say goodbye to two scientists. There will then be evictions every day for the rest of the week, with the winner announced on Friday. So keep VOTING students to make sure your favourite Organs scientist survives tomorrow’s double eviction. Who will walk off with the prize? YOU decide!
