Well the physicists who are looking for it in switzerand announced this morning that they have found a new subatomic particle that has the characteristics that they think the Higgs bozon has. They still need to do lots more work to find out if this new particle is what they are looking for, but its the first step to proving that it does exist.

There are a lot of very excited physicists today that think it does – may take them a couple more years to proove it though
