Can't wait to get stuck in and answer some questions. Sorry I've been MIA.

Favourite Thing: Oooh that’s a difficult one (as there are sooo many great things NOT because there are none!) but I guess it would be learning something new and knowing it will end up helping someone and making their quality of life better. As you can’t save everyone but you can always help!

Me and my work

The world of drugs, medication and lungs! I work on medical investigations, although fun not quite E.R. The investigations are called clinical trials studies. These are where helpful drugs are tested to see if they have a real difference to real peoples normal lives. As I work in respiratory research the studies I do are with volunteers with Asthma and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). Testing all the wierd body fluids you can think of including MUCUS. Yuck! I know but we do this to find markers to see how unwell a patient is and if they are getting better with the trial drugs or if they just are being tricked into feeling better. Ask me to find out more!
